Headlined by series regulars Kevin Connolly, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara, Jeremy Piven the HBO comedy series “Entourage” has low and behold is one cable series that goes without introduction considering its popularity amongst both males/females and even that of Hollywood itself. Best described as a male version of “Sex and the City” “Entourage” follows the day to day life of fictional Hollywood actor Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier), his three best friends (Kevin Connelly, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara) and his superstar agent (Jeremy Piven) as they navigate their way through Hollywood enjoying all the pleasure of what it’s like to be on the A-list.

With the just released sixth season of the acclaimed Golden Globe and Emmy nominated series, audiences pick up where season five left off which (to bring you up to speed) saw Vincent being offered the lead role in Martin Scorseses film adaptation of “The Great Gatsby.” In season six, Vincent has moved on from “The Great Gatsby” now looking for his next project but, as audiences will notice season six was a season dedicated to the personal progression and growth of the series supporting character particularly E and Turlte, played by Kevin Connelly and Jerry Ferrara. This season literally found both likeable characters developing into their own both professionally but more importantly personally in the romantic department.

With E, audiences see Vincent’s manger and best friend, reacquainting with his former fling Sloan (Emmanuelle Chriqui) and ultimately marrying her. I know this little plot piece would perhaps ruin the season finale but, come on I think we all saw this coming. Likewise season six saw Turtle growing into his own being involved and ultimately losing Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who in the series plays herself. This episodic chain of events certainly puts a staple on season six showing its great progression in both character buts also plot. Personally I found this aspect of season six and the series itself to be rather unique and ultimately showing how it would progress into season seven and ultimately season eight, which is rumored to be the last season of the popularly venerated series.

Now season six wasn’t all about romance. Season six saw many great episodes including “The Sorkin Notes,” “Berried Alive” and “Fore” which found Drama (Kevin Dillon) and Turtle taking on a game of golf with the likes of Tom Brady and Mark Wahlberg, who is also an executive producer of the show. Season Six was an incredible episodic chapter is a series that shows the ups and downs of life in the spotlight but, also one that showcases the greatness but, also meaning of friendship.
