Soaring to new heights in animated adventure comes Walt Disney and PIXAR's tenth feature film "UP." An exciting and sentimental accolade to adventure classics of yester years "UP" will raise audience's sprits and imagination to new altitudes like no other film has before.

In "UP," audiences are introduced to Carl Fredricksen, voiced by Ed Asner, a lonely widow who ties thousands of balloons to his home which in turn would allow him to travel to South America to fulfill a promise he made to his late wife Ellie. After embarking on his trip, Carl finds a Wilderness Explorer by the name of Russell who has stowed away aboard his house craft. Russell at first puts a damper in Carl's plans to fulfill his promise; but, as their trip progresses, Carl soon sees the adventurous will he once had as a child in Russell, which gives Carl optimism in the idea that the adventure in him never ever left.

This wondrous tale is absolutely stunning and one piece of animated splendor that the late great Walt Disney would be proud of. Retaining the heart tendering sentiment of a personal journey story, UP is an animated feature that's built on heart and power of saying goodbye. Even though UP is for the most part an adventure story the film really has something more going for it, that being a genuine and rich love story. This love story aspect truly makes the film something more to become part of. Audiences won't be able to tear themselves away and in turn may find themselves shedding a tear. This saddened aspect of the story will remind audiences of the importance that love has in our lives and especially how much stronger it makes us from our days as a child to the days of being an elderly.

"UP" is a awe-inspiring piece of animation. The films marvelous depiction of adventure is at times better than some adventure-esque films audiences see in the commonplace Hollywood spectrum. Animated films often times do a better job at the exploration of adventure than a live action film considering the amount of special effects a live action film would require. UP takes this and develops it into a world that's prosperous in wonder and boundless manifestation. From a vibrant and alive jungle inhabited by unique type of bird to an aerial landscape filled with talking dogs flying by planes, UP is no where short of eye catching sights, which in turn will have audiences in complete awe of the world they are witnessing right before them.

This once in a lifetime animated feature isn't to be missed and will surely go down as a milestone in Walt Disney and PIXAR's partnership. "UP's" astounding escape from reality will certainly grip audiences and have them yearning for a place in a world such as the one seen in this animated classic.
